Join us for a workshop on 16 January, 12:00–17:00 in Utrecht exploring key technologies for an implantable artificial kidney. This meeting aims to assess whether we can form a strong, coherent consortium and concept for the upcoming NWO KIC “Demand-driven research by consortia – XL” call (pre-proposal deadline 10 March 2026, 14:00 CET; full proposal deadline 12 November 2026, 14:00 CET). The program will include a plenary introduction, short 2–3 minute partner pitches, and parallel breakout sessions on major challenges such as device architecture/manufacturing, sensing, bioreactor design, long-term biocompatible coatings, upscaling, nanofilter fabrication, and concentration polarization control.
